The Challenge
Tracking regulatory changes at a large telecoms operator is not a single job. It is a continuous obligation that spans electronic communications law, consumer protection, energy regulation, statistics requirements, and commercial registry obligations, among others. The legal and compliance team had to monitor multiple Slovak legislative sources manually: the Government's proceedings portal (rokovania.gov.sk), the National Council of the Slovak Republic (nrsr.sk), and the legislative portal Slov-Lex. Someone had to check these sources regularly, filter what was relevant, and make sure nothing material was missed.
The volume of legislative activity made consistency difficult. The process depended on individual attention, and individual attention is finite. When someone was occupied with higher-priority work, the monitoring fell behind.
The real risk was not missing a major new law. The risk was missing an amendment in a secondary regulation that quietly extended or modified an existing obligation specific to the operator's business.

Generic search tools produce too much noise or miss specialized legislative portals entirely. Elevon built the monitoring directly over the three primary Slovak sources, using a keyword set derived from the operator's regulatory exposure and a tracking table provided by the legal team. The agent monitors what matters, calibrated by the legal team, not by a general-purpose algorithm.
Every result traceable to a verified source
Each legislative update in the report carries a direct link to the source document. Where one portal showed an older status than another, the agent cross-referenced and flagged the verification source. Nothing is included without attribution, which matters for compliance teams that must demonstrate they reviewed the correct version.
Integrates into existing workflows
Reports are stored in a dedicated SharePoint structure: a Backups folder for source data and a Reports folder for monthly outputs. The legal team receives the report with a link to the current tracking spreadsheet. Scope control stays with the client.

The Rollout
Two agents run in production. The first monitors three primary Slovak legislative sources monthly: rokovania.gov.sk, nrsr.sk, and slov-lex.sk. It applies a keyword set covering the operator's full regulatory scope, cross-references sources where statuses differ, and delivers a structured report with a direct link for every result.
The second agent handles detailed document analysis. When the monitoring agent flags a relevant change, the analysis agent processes the full text and surfaces the specific provisions that affect the operator's operations. The legal team receives both outputs in one workflow, from discovery to actionable legal review.

How we estimate: the monthly cycle removes manual source-checking from the legal team's week. The larger value is risk avoidance, because a single missed amendment can carry regulatory consequences far beyond the effort saved, and that is what the cycle is designed to prevent.
Why It Worked
Legislative monitoring is a consistent operational task. When done manually, it either gets done well by one or two people, or it slips when those people have more urgent work. That dependency is the real compliance risk.
The agent removed the dependency. It runs on a fixed schedule, applies the same keyword logic every cycle, covers the same sources, and produces a structured output the legal team can act on without additional filtering or source-checking.
Three decisions drove the outcome. The monitoring was built over specific legislative portals rather than broad web search, which reduced noise and increased coverage of the sources that actually matter. Every result was required to carry a source link, which meant the output was directly usable. And the keyword scope stayed with the client, so the legal team could adjust regulatory coverage without depending on Elevon to make changes. This was not an AI project in the abstract sense. It was an operational fix for a specific gap in how regulatory intelligence reached the people responsible for acting on it.
